ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

MagnaMinds is an initiative committed to reshaping how the world sees neurodiversity and expanding access to inclusive education 🧠💙.

Through self-help toolkits, biannual symposiums, and community-driven innovation, we empower families, educators, and learners to create supportive environments where every mind can thrive.

Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), MagnaMinds works to raise awareness, provide practical resources, and foster collaboration that celebrates neurodiversity as a strength.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

True inclusion does not ask children to change who they are.

It asks systems to change how they support.
Inclusive education benefits everyone.

It builds empathy, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and real world readiness, inside and outside the classroom.

OUR VISION

A society where neurodiversity is recognized as a difference, not a weakness, and every child has the opportunity to realize their potential.

OUR MISSION

To address educational and social gaps by providing inclusive learning strategies, advocacy, and practical tools that empower children, parents, and educators to grow together.

Ryan Winston Angouw

Founder

Ryan Winston Angouw is the founder of MagnaMinds, a youth-led initiative advancing neurodiversity awareness and inclusive education. He launched MagnaMinds in Grade 9 at the age of 14, building on earlier involvement in inclusion efforts during middle school.

While in middle school, Ryan was active in Advocates for Change, supporting students in special needs classes and promoting greater inclusion within his school community. He later completed an internship at the Jakarta Behavior Center, assisting therapists working with neurodivergent children, experience that informed the development of the MagnaMinds Toolkit.

Now a Grade 10 student at Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS), Ryan participated in the 2025 United Nations Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (UN APFSD) as one of the youngest delegates, contributing to regional discussions on inclusive education.

MagnaMinds reflects this continued commitment. As Ryan shares,

“If MagnaMinds helps even one child feel supported, one parent feel less alone, or one teacher find new ways to connect, then it’s already worth it.”
